Oh. My. Gosh. Loveys!!!

I'm going on a three-month vacation!!!!!

Last night, I get a call from my boss saying what a great job I've been doing and that I can take the next three months off as a reward - full pay with a travel allowance!

I couldn't breathe, I was so excited!

So first thing I did after getting off the phone with her?

Make a list of everything I want to do!

The first month I decided that I would stay close to home and just soak in everything I love to do:

coffee / writing / sunsets / books

I want to just sip coffee all day.

Get some writing in.

Read marvelous books.

Take in sunsets.

Then?

Off for an adventure!

I asked my hubby where he'd like to go and we both said in unison, "Venice!"

Venice, Italy

I'll arrange with the kids' school to have them off for the month (they can use this as Social Studies, right?  International Relations? I'll make it work), book the tickets, and we're off!

I've always wanted to go there and then tour the Italian countryside.

A whole entire month to soak up every ounce of Italian Everything - oh, what an experience it will be!

And on our way back, I have to stop in...

I'd stay with Pidgapeg for a week or so, of course.

We'd cook, craft, explore her town, and just relax...total bliss...I cannot wait!

Then off to explore all the cities in Nicholas Sparks' novels.

I need to figure out what B&Bs to stay at, but it'll be a nice little tour to do for a couple of weeks.

 

Then back home.

It's going to be wonderful, marvelous...like a dream.

 

Yup.

Then I woke up.
